Areas of Responsibilities

 

Adult Faith Enrichment: Nancy Berchtold

 

Nancy Berchtold is the contact for Adult Faith Enrichments for the Parish. She is responsible for slowly beginning this area of our Parish activities. This would include areas such as but not limited to Parish Bible Studies, Parish Missions, and any available retreats in the areas or sponsored through the Diocese. This contact would also be involved in trying to discern the Faith needs of the Parish.

 

Hospitality: Magee Maurer

 

Magee Maurer is the contact for any social events in the parish. This would include but not be limited to “coffee and…” after the masses or when we have a parish reception. She is contact for the parishioners to ask for additional social events in the Parish. Nancy would also be involved in planning any parish trips or learning of social events in neighboring parishes or in the community.

 

Liturgy:  David Rimili & Linda Teresky

 

This person or persons would be the contact for anyone in the parish who had concerns about any aspect of the Liturgy. This would include all liturgical ministries: Music, Lector, Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist, Altar Server, and Ushers. It is this person or persons whom Fr. Mick would contact when there would be a need that specifically related to the times the community is at Sacred Heart for the Liturgy. This would include the coordination of activities before and after the liturgy such as but not limited to selling Christmas cards or Filling out name cards or distributing collecting surveys etc.

 

Parish Activities: 

 

This person or persons would be the contact for all parish activities not covered in the above areas. This would concern the projects around the parish that come up from time to time that the parish might enjoy being a part of.  

 

Public Relations: Robert Van Doren & Michael Rhodes

 

This person or person would be the contact for all publicity in the parish. This is especially focused on insuring all the local media as well as the catholic media, be kept abreast of all activities in the parish. This contact would also be the person the parish would inform if there was an activity that would bring good publicity to the parish.

 

Social Justice:  

 

This person or persons would be the contact for all issues having to do with local, national or global Social Justice items. This would include information found regarding specific legislation, general information that needs to be distributed to the parish community, being in contact with the Diocesan office of Social Justice. This would also be the contact for the parish to bring issues before the entire community concerning issues of Justice. This would be the contact for, but not limited to the Lord Table Project.

 

Youth and Children:  Christine Franko

 

This person or persons would be the contact for all activities for the youth of the Parish. This contact would be responsible for developing this area in our Parish Activities. This contact would also serve as the voice or coordinator of the youth in the parish. They would be directly involved with but not limited to developing programs and activities for the youth.  This person or persons would also be the contact for all the activities for children in our parish such as but not limited to, the liturgy, social events, Vacation Bible School, Easter egg hunts. This contact would be the parish contact for areas concerning children. This contact would also be responsible for information pertaining to the CCD Program.
